Lindner Tagged as Rookie of the Week for Third Time

EASTON, Pa. - Freshman point guard Nick Lindner has been named Patriot League Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the third time this season, it was announced today. Lindner previously garnered the honor on Dec. 2 and Dec. 9.
Lindner averaged 13.5 points and 4.0 assists per game in a pair of high-scoring contests for the Leopards. He had 11 points and three assists in a 96-86 loss to Bucknell on Jan. 8, and put up 16 points with five assists in an 89-78 loss to Boston University three days later.
The freshman made 7-of-13 shots and 12-of-15 free throws for the week, and is one of four Lafayette players averaging in double figures with 10.1 ppg. The freshman also leads the team with 60 assists (4.0 apg).
Lafayette returns to action at 7:30 p.m. on Monday night at Loyola in a nationally televised game on CBS Sports Network.
