- Lafayette looks to make it three straight victories for the first time this season when it hosts reigning Patriot League champion Bucknell at Kirby Sports Center on Monday evening. The Bison enter with an 8-8 overall record, going 2-1 to open Patriot League action.

- Known as an offensive program under the direction of 23rd-year head coach Fran O'Hanlon, it's surprisingly been the defense this season that has helped the Leopards to a strong 2-1 start to Patriot League play. The Leopards are tops in the league in three-point percentage defense (34.4%), second in field-goal percentage defense (43.8%) and fourth in scoring defense (72.8 ppg).

- Freshmen Alex Petrie and Justin Jaworski have been the stories in the last two wins for the Maroon and White. Petrie's record-breaking 29-point effort helped take care of Holy Cross on Jan. 2, while Jaworski hit the game-winning triple with three seconds left at Colgate on Friday.

- Next up for the Leopards is a two-game road trip, starting on Thursday at Army with tip-off at noon.
