Opening Tip: 

Lafayette travels south to The Palestra to challenge Penn as the Leopards look to snap a two-game series skid. The Leopards are also looking for their first road victory of the season.

Lafayette is being outscored by 15.5 points in its eight road games this season and averages 17.4 turnovers per game away from home.

The Leopards improved to 6-10 overall with a 83-66 win over NJIT. Seth Hinrichs led the way offensively, scoring 21 points, while Tony Johnson scored 15 and had seven assists.

Dan Trist (13.8 ppg) missed three games before returning to score ten points against Princeton. Trist has led Lafayette in scoring seven times this season and has netted at least ten points in ten games.

Levi Giese (27 blocks) has had at least two rejections in 10 games this season.

Hinrichs leads the Patriot League with 40 made three pointers this year.

Hinrichs (14.6 ppg) leads the team in scoring and has netted at least ten points in nine of the Leopards’ last 10 games.

Johnson moved into a tie with Craig Kowalda ’96 for 15th  in the Lafayette record book with 126 career steals after securing two against NJIT. He leads the Patriot League with 31 thefts this season.

Johnson is currently tied with Bruce Stankavage ’91 for 12th  in program history with 291 career assists. Jay Mottola ’72 is in 11th place with 297 career dimes.
