NOTABLE:
Named captain for 2001-02 season…one of two returning starters…leading returning rebounder for Lafayette…a Minnesota Mr. Basketball semifinalist coming out of high school.
GENERAL:
An athletic forward who can play underneath the basket or step outside…counted on for muscle and physical play...will be challenging for the starting spot at power forward.
2000-01:
Played in all 28 games, earning 12 starts… grabbed 78 rebounds, the third most on the team…shot 39-62 from the field to post the best shooting percentage on the team (.629)…led the team in rebounding five times…averaged 3.7 points and 2.8 rebounds per game…had six points, five rebounds, and two assists against Stony Brook (2/19)…had 11 points against Albany (2/14)…chipped in eight points and grabbed six rebounds against Colgate (1/21)…had a team high seven boards against Scranton (12/20)…collected seven points and a career-high nine rebounds against Columbia (11/29).
1999-00:
Started 20 games at power forward for the Leopards…averaged 3.6 points…saw increased playing time in his second season, starting 20 games…secured five rebounds vs. Navy (3/10) in P.L. Tournament Final… collected a career-high six steals vs. Holy Cross (2/12)…made all four of his free throws in the final 1:17 to seal the win at Holy Cross (1/19)…earned his first start of the season at Georgia Tech (1/2) where he grabbed a team-high five boards…hit two free throws with 6.1 seconds left to send the game into overtime vs. St. Joseph’s (12/29); he scored a career-high 12 points…scored 10 points and grabbed a career-high seven rebounds in the Leopards’ season opener at Columbia (11/20).
1998-99
Played in 15 games off the bench…averaged 1.1 points and 0.5 rebounds per game…made the most of his field goal opportunities, converting six of 12…worked underneath for eight points and a pair of rebounds versus Haverford (2/1)…scored three points and collected a rebound versus Swarthmore (12/2).
HIGH SCHOOL:
Helped lead St. Thomas to an impressive record of 66-16 over three years as a starter…paced the squad to a 22-6 mark his senior season, leading them to the Minnesota State AAA title under head coach Mike Sjoberg…averaged 15.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game for the Cadets in his senior year…was selected to the All-State team by the Minnesota Basketball News…a Minnesota Mr. Basketball semifinalist…also a two-time member of the All-St. Paul Suburban Team.
