General:Very athletic going to the basket...can step out and hit jumpers to 17 feet...high basketball IQ...as he develops strength, will be an integral part of the team.

2013-14: Played in 29 games, making nine starts...led the team with 19 blocked shots...averaged 3.9 points in 13.6 minutes per game...led the Leopards by shooting 62.5 percent from beyond the arc (10-of-16)...scored six points, grabbed three boards and had a block in the Patriot League Tournament First Round win over Loyola (3/3)...hit a three-pointer in the loss at Army (3/1)...added five points in the loss at Colgate (2/26)...scored five points with two rebounds against Lehigh (2/23)...blocked a career-high four shots and scored nine points in the win over Loyola (2/12)...blocked two shots in nine minutes off the bench at Bucknell (2/5)...added four points and two blocked shots in the win over Navy (2/1)...had three points at Lehigh (1/25)...netted seven points and pulled in three rebounds against Holy Cross (1/22)...matched his career-high with five rebounds and scored four points at American (1/18)...scored seven points and blocked a shot at Loyola (1/13)...made all four of his shots (nine points) and pulled down four rebounds in the loss to Boston (1/11)...secured a career-high five rebounds and scored five points against Bucknell (1/8)...put in seven points on 3-of-3 from the field and blocked a career-high 3 shots against Army (1/2)...scored nine points in his third consecutive start at Seton Hall (12/27)...chipped in four points at St. Francis Brooklyn (12/19)...made his first-career start, scored six points and blocked two shots against Immaculata (12/17)...netted nine points, all in the second half, and pulled in four boards in the win at Sacred Heart (12/7)...collected three boards and scored his first career point in the win over Penn (11/30)...grabbed three rebounds, blocked a shot and had his first-career steal against Yale (11/26)...registered his first-career assist, block and rebound at NJIT (11/23)...made his season debut and played one minute against Villanova (11/8).

High School: A four year forward and member of the track and field team at Nolan Catholic High School...under the direction of head coach Steve Prud'homme, he helped the Vikings to a 32-5 overall record as a senior...scored 17 points, secured nine rebounds, blocked three shots, handed out two assists and averaged more than one steal per game...played in the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS 5A), Hoffman was named Defensive Player of the Year, was First Team All-State and First Team All-District in his junior and senior seasons...2013 TAPPS 5A All-Tournament Team...played in the Basketball Coaches All-Star Game...Nolan Catholic's all-time leader in blocked shots with 214 for his career...competed in the high jump...three-year state qualifier in addition to being a TAPPS 5A Academic All-State choice each of his final two seasons...four-year member of the Honor Roll...graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Personal:Son of John and Sharon Hoffman...has two younger brothers, Gregory and Patrick, and two younger sisters, Katie and Emily...born on Dec. 7, 1994.
