GENERAL: Ranked as one of the top point guards in New York City coming out of high school…can play either point guard or shooting guard position…played for the Swedish Junior National team in summer of 2001. HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 9.5 points and 11.0 assists per game in his senior season at St. Mary’s…played the point guard for the St. Mary’s squad that went 30-1 and won the Long Island Catholic Championship…part of a St. Mary’s program which has had 19 players go on to play college basketball since 1992…six players are currently playing in Division I, including three from the Gaels’ 2000-01 squad. Coach’s Comments: “Kenny is a true point guard in the classic sense. He’s an excellent passer and floor general.” |
