The Lafayette men's basketball team helped the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs, the AAA affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, open up their 2015 campaign on Thursday evening, greeting fans and throwing out the first pitch during a pregame ceremony.

$64k Challenge Nets Tremendous Support

The Maroon Club's recent $64k Challenge, held in honor of the Lafayette men's basketball team's 2015 Patriot League Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance, raised $89,677 between Selection Sunday (March 15) and tipoff of the Leopards' NCAA Second Round game vs. Villanova on Thursday, March 19.

Trist to Compete in Portsmouth Invitational

Senior Dan Trist of the Lafayette men's basketball team has accepted an invite to compete in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament to be played April 8-11 in Portsmouth, Va.

Alan Childs is the first and only professor to serve as academic adviser to the men's basketball team. His 25-year stint eclipses head coach Fran O'Hanlon's tenure by five years. He's proven to be an invaluable member of the program.
