Baseball Pitches in at Easton Area Public Library
Nov. 18, 2011
EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette baseball team assisted the Easton Area Public Library this past Saturday in preparation for the library's annual used book sale. The event was organized by the Landis Community Outreach Center and junior outfielder Andrew Ruck.
The Leopards moved boxes of books in advance of the upcoming sale and helped to reorganize the books on the main floor of the library. The baseball team has consistently been active in the community under head coach Joe Kinney, previously working at the Children's Home of Easton, ProJect of Easton, the Salvation Army and Easton's West Ward.
Lafayette's Landis Community Outreach Center is dedicated to fostering a relationship between the College and the Easton community and cultivating personal, civic and intellectual growth for students.
