EASTON, Pa. - The Friends of Lafayette Baseball held its First Annual Career and Networking Event on Thursday, Oct. 24 in New York City at the New York Athletic Club.

The event provided students with an opportunity to learn about career options in the field of study that they are pursuing or considering, but also encouraged students to learn about the variety of careers available in multiple industries.

The Friends of Lafayette Baseball Career Night consisted of an informal panel discussion on career development. Topics included how to network or market yourself to industry recruiters, what skills and abilities are important in your area of interest, and what search techniques you should utilize when applying for potential jobs.

The Friends of Lafayette Baseball is very appreciative of the panelists’ support of Friends of Lafayette Baseball Career Night, and it was a fabulous evening for everyone involved.
