EASTON, Pa. - Friends of Lafayette Baseball will hold its First Annual Career and Networking Night. The event provides Lafayette Baseball student-athletes with an opportunity to learn about career options in the field of study that they are pursuing or considering. 

The primary goal of the Friends of Lafayette College Baseball Career & Networking Night Series is to better prepare student-athletes for life after Lafayette through shared professional experiences and networking opportunities from former Lafayette student-athletes and current parents of student-athletes.

Friends of Lafayette Baseball Career Night consists of an informal panel discussion on career development. Topics include how to network or market yourself to industry recruiters, what skills and abilities are important in your area of interest, and what search techniques you should utilize when applying for potential jobs.

What Is Lafayette College Baseball Career & Networking Night?
The First Annual Lafayette College Baseball Career & Networking Night will provide a unique opportunity for students to interact personally with a broad range of Lafayette College Baseball Alumni, while broadening their perspectives on career and employment options. The Lafayette Baseball Alumni will be available to interact with students regarding career and professional information, part-time and summer employment, internship opportunities, and full-time employment. Current students will get the opportunity to learn about the important skill of networking and practice with Lafayette Alumni.

Industries that plan to be represented in 2013: 
Finance, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Sports Marketing, Pharmaceuticals, Technology

Thursday, October 24th, 2013

Attendees:
Open to all current and past Lafayette College Baseball Players - recommended for current sophomores, juniors and seniors. Transportation will be provided for students to and from the event.
