EASTON, Pa. - Parker Hills and Andrew Santomauro have been selected to the Patriot League Baseball All-Tournament Team, as announced by the league office. The duo combined to hit .571 (8-for-14) in the May 12 doubleheader at Army.

Hills went 3-for-5 with two runs batted in in the series opener at West Point. The freshman catcher also started the nightcap, but was replaced behind the dish due to injury in the bottom of the first inning before registering a plate appearance. Hills wrapped up his rookie season on College Hill with 19 hits and 17 RBI in 81 at-bats.

Santomauro was 5-for-9 in the doubleheader against the eventual Patriot League champion Black Knights. He hit two doubles, scored four runs, stole a base and picked up an RBI. The sophomore led the Leopards in batting average (.277), slugging percentage (.395), hits (54), runs (32), doubles (12), triples (4), total bases (77) and stolen bases (11) and sacrifice flies (3). He was the only Leopard to play and start all 52 games, patrolling centerfield for all but three innings of the 2012 campaign.

Including this season, the Leopards have qualified for seven of the 18 Patriot League Tournaments - all during Joe Kinney's 13-year tenure as head coach. Lafayette won the league crown in 2007 and advanced to the Championship Series in 2004 and 2009. Prior to the last two campaigns, the Leopards had only once qualified for consecutive tournament berths (2006 and 2007).
