Baseball Welcomes Lehigh to Kamine for Weekend Series

- Lafayette enters the weekend series with Lehigh after dropping a midweek game to Monmouth on Wednesday afternoon in West Long Branch, N.J. Lehigh is coming off a win after halting a four-game losing skid by defeating Iona at home on Tuesday.

- The Leopards and Mountain Hawks have squared off a total of 385 times in the history of The Rivalry with Lafayette holding the series advantage 229-153-3. The series began in 1869 and resulted in a 45-45 tie in Easton, Pa. Last season, the Leopards were swept by the Mountain Hawks in Bethlehem, Pa. 

- Steven Cohen was named the Patriot League Player of the Week last week after his dominant performance at the plate. The junior second baseman batted .688 with a .750 on-base percentage and 1.000 slugging percentage in five games. In 16 at-bats, he recorded 11 hits, including two doubles and a homer, and also scored a seven runs.

- Following this weekend's series with Lehigh, the Leopards will remain at Kamine Stadium to host Rider for a Tuesday non-conference showdown slated for 3:30 p.m.
