EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette baseball team will honor its Sponsor-A-Player donors on Saturday, April 28 between games of the Leopards' doubleheader against Bucknell. There will also be a tailgate co-sponsored by the Friends of Lafayette Baseball and the Lehigh Valley chapter of the Lafayette Alumni Association.

The Sponsor-A-Player initiative seeks to foster a stronger relationship between student-athletes and the alumni, parents and friends who support the program. All Sponsor-A-Player donors are assigned a current first-year player and will provide support throughout the course of the player's career before welcoming him to the Lafayette baseball alumni family.

The tailgate will be open to all alumni, families and friends of the Lafayette baseball program. Those planning to attend the tailgate should please RSVP to Chas Snyder '78 via e-mail or at (610) 252-5881.
