Baseball Announces Midweek Schedule Change

Go Leopards!

April 12, 2011

EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette baseball team has announced the cancellation of Wednesday's meeting with Villanova. The Leopards will instead travel to Camden, N.J. to meet Saint Joseph's at 7 p.m.

The cancellation is due to Villanova's commitment to play in the Liberty Bell Classic Championship Game at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. That contest, originally scheduled for today, was postponed due to inclement weather. At this time, no plans to reschedule the Lafayette-Villanova game have been announced.

After Wednesday night's meeting with Saint Joseph's at Campbell's Field in Camden, Lafayette will resume its home slate with noon doubleheaders against Holy Cross on both Saturday and Sunday. All four contests with the Crusaders will be broadcast live on LSN All-Access.
