Series Preview
Lafayette continues its homestand with a four-game series against Holy Cross over the weekend. The Leopards are now 5-22 overall and 2-2 in the Patriot League. Fans can watch all four games on 

Last Time Out
The Leopards lost to La Salle on Wednesday afternoon, 6-2, in Liberty Bell Classic action. Freshman shortstop Andrew Landolfi led the Lafayette offense, going 2-for-4 with an RBI double. Fellow rookie Ari Kaufman made the start pitching two scoreless innings for the Leopards, while senior Kevin Casey pitched three innings allowing just two hits and no runs in relief.

Holy Cross Preview
The Crusaders are 11-15 overall and 3-1 in the Patriot League after taking three out of four from Bucknell. Junior Brandon Cipolla leads Holy Cross with a .366 batting average and 34 hits. Senior Jordan Enos has a team-high 20 RBI and 11 doubles, while classmate Patrick Puentes has a team-leading three home runs. Sophomore Evan Ocello is second on the team in RBI (19) and leads the Crusaders in runs scored (22).
All-Time Series
The Leopards are 45-39 against the Crusaders in a series that dates back to 1903. The teams split their four-game series last season in Worcester, Mass.

Saturday afternoon will be mostly sunny with a high in the mid fifties, while Sunday will be partly cloudy with highs in the mid sixties.

Outfield Production
Senior Andrew Ruck has paced the Leopard offense with a team-high three home runs, 10 RBI and 11 runs scored. Ruck leads the team with 30 hits and is second on the squad with a .313 batting average. Junior leadoff batter Andrew Santomauro has racked up 25 hits including a team-high three triples and 6 doubles, while also scoring 17 runs. In right field, Thomas Dunleavy has scored six runs and has notched 16 hits this season.

Patriot League Update
Patriot League play started last weekend with Lafayette and Lehigh splitting a four-game series. Holy Cross took three out of four from Bucknell, and Navy won its four-game series with Army, three games to one. Patriot League action resumes this weekend with Bucknell visiting Navy and Lehigh hosting Army.
On Deck
The Leopards will travel to La Salle on Tuesday, April 9, followed by a Patriot League weekend series at home against Army.

Preseason Recognition

The Leopards were picked to finish fifth in the Patriot League Preseason Poll, after going 14-37-1 a season ago. Lafayette senior co-captain Kevin Casey garnered Preseason All-Patriot League honors at second base on the League's inaugural preseason team. Casey hit .330 last season with 17 RBI.
