EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - After a pair of postponements due to severe weather in the Lehigh Valley, Lafayette's Patriot League baseball series with Holy Cross has officially been called off for this weekend. The teams had planned to salvage two games with a doubleheader on Monday afternoon, but more than three inches of rain in the past 24 hours has forced the cancellation of those games as well.

The four-game series has tentatively been rescheduled for May 6-7 in Easton.

Lafayette is back in action on Wednesday, visiting Manhattan at 3:30 p.m. The Leopards return home next weekend to host defending league champ Army in a four-game series. Prior to the start of Saturday's doubleheader, the playing field at Class of 1978 Stadium will be dedicated in honor of Hilton "Dutch" Rahn '51.
