EASTON, Pa. - Wednesday's home baseball game against Wagner has been postponed. No makeup date has been announced. The Leopards are now scheduled to open both their home season and league play against Navy this weekend with doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday.

The infield at the Class of 1978 Stadium was graded and re-sodded in the fall and the extra time without game traffic will allow the field to further cure. The playing surface is expected to be in playing condition when Lafayette hosts Navy on Saturday and Sunday for the start of league play.

Lafayette (9-6) travels to Penn (6-6) on Tuesday for a 3 p.m. game in the opening round of the Liberty Bell Classic.
