Baseball to Host Penn State at Coca Cola Park
Feb. 2, 2018
EASTON, Pa. - The Lehigh Valley IronPigs and Lafayette baseball announced on Friday afternoon that the Leopards will host Penn State at Coca-Cola Park on Apr. 25.
"Lafayette baseball is very excited to have the opportunity to play Penn State University at Coca-Cola Park," Lafayette head coach Joe Kinney stated. "Playing in a Triple A ballpark that is consistently rated one of the best minor league venues in the country will provide our student-athletes a unique experience. Taking on an opponent from the Big 10 Conference is always a great opportunity and this will be a great event for our alumni, family, and friends to gather and support the Leopards."
The Iron Pigs will host the event while the Maroon and White will take the field as the home team. This game will mark the first time that Coca-Cola Park has been the site of a Division I baseball game. The Leopards have faced off with the Nittany Lions each of the last three seasons and will continue the series in Allentown this year.
Tickets for the event are available through the IronPigs.
