Tim Reilly begins his first season with the Leopards coaching staff.
Reilly spent the previous five seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Rutgers. While there, he acted as an assistant coach working closely with catchers and helping develop the squad’s offensive approach. The native of Egg Harbor City, N.J., also served as the program’s recruiting coordinator.
During his time at Rutgers, he also founded his own company, Catching College LLC, running development camps for high school players.
Prior to Rutgers, Reilly started out at Rider as an assistant coach working with the catchers and scouting potential student athletes. He also had a quick stop with the Monmouth Monarchs, an amateur organization based in Middletown, New Jersey in 2012 where he acted as the head coach, overseeing all aspects of the team for their summer league.
During his playing career, Reilly spent four-seasons behind the plate at Rutgers. During the 2007 season he backstopped the team to a program-record-tying 42 wins and a Big East Regular Season and Tournament Championship.
