General: A versatile player who returns to the starting lineup, but will make the move from second base to either third base or centerfield...played in the Coastal Plains League for the Durham Americans last summer and the Shenendoah Valley League the previous summer...majoring in Civil Engineering

2003: Named to the All-Patriot League Second Team for the second consecutive season...as a junior, started the 39 games he played...registered a .311 batting average...tied for second in the Patriot League and led the team with 6 home runs...other team leading totals included doubles (11), RBI (31), slugging percentage (.528), and stolen bases (16)...hit safely in 25 of 39 games with 12 multiple hit games...closed out the season going 2-for-5 with 2 home runs and three RBI's against Albany (5/7)...turned in a 3-for-4 performance against Lehigh (4/29) which included two doubles and two RBI...had a second three-RBI game when he went 4-for-5 against St. Joseph's (4/22) coming up a triple short of the cycle...had a season high 4 RBI's against Holy Cross (4/5) with a double and a home run as part of a 3 for 4 effort.

2002: Earned a spot on the All-Patriot League Second Team...started all 45 games for the Leopards his sophomore season...finished fifth on the team with a .323 batting average ...led the team with 54 hits, including team-high 16 doubles and four triples...the Leopards...second-best run producer with 34 RBI...led the team with 19 stolen bases in 21 attempts...went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run, and three RBI against Penn (3/21)...stole a season-high three bases vs. Harvard (3/29)...registered multiple hits in 18 games.

2001: Appeared in 40 games, starting 39 as a freshman...finished fourth on the team in hitting with a .356 batting average...led the team in runs scored (40) and triples (4)...went 3-for3 with three RBI and a run scored in a win over Navy (4/28)...went 2-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored against Army (4/22); part of a five-game span in which Boyd hit .588 with two homers, a triple, two doubles and six RBI on his way to being named Patriot League Player of the Week.
