Guard enters his first year as the Director of Baseball Operations for the Lafayette baseball team.

He comes to College Hill right from the pitcher’s mound after spending the last three years as a relief pitcher at Moravian. In his first year, the team made it to the Landmark Conference Tournament championship game and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Through three years in a Greyhounds’ jersey, Guard appeared in 36 games and posted a 3.76 career ERA with 32 strikeouts and a 4-4 record.

While in high school, he ran his own pitching camp (Nuke-Clear Pitching Camp) for children of ages 8-13.

For the Leopards, Guard will be doing a lot of behind the scenes work. His primary duties include coordinating video operations and team travel as well as assisting with logistical support.

Guard graduated from Moravian in the spring of 2016 with a degree in Sports Management.
