2016: Led Lafayette regulars in earned-run average (3.92), innings pitched (59 2/3), complete games (5), strikeouts (70) and batting average against (.241) during his junior season…upped his career strikeout total to 188, moving him to third place all-time in program history…racked up double-digit K’s in three of his 10 starts on the year…registered a microscopic 1.53 ERA over five starts from March 4 – April 2…that stretch began with seven shutout innings at Davidson (3/4) in which he gave up only three hits and struck out five…earned the first of two Patriot League Pitcher of the Week awards for that effort…picked up his first win of the season against Radford (3/19), giving up three runs over a season-high 7 1/3 innings…matched a career-high with 11 strikeouts in a 3-1 win at Penn (3/26)…surrendered three hits and one earned run in the victory…tossed a seven-inning shutout the following weekend at Army West Point (4/2), fanning 10 batters and allowing four hits to earn his second Pitcher of the Week accolade…struck out an average of eight batters in five conference starts…closed the season strong, striking out 10 without walking a batter over six innings at Holy Cross (4/30)…ranked second overall in the Patriot League in strikeouts at the conclusion of the regular season.

Started all 10 games he appeared in on the mound…led the team in earned-run average (3.41), complete games (3), innings pitched (63 1/3), strikeouts (70) and opponent batting average (.219)…allowed two runs or less in seven or his 10 starts…struck out 10 and allowed only two hits and one earned run in a hard-luck defeat to Holy Cross (3/28)…notched his first win against Army (4/4), surrendering two runs over 6 1/3 innings and striking out seven…followed that performance by giving up two runs (one earned) over 7 2/3 innings in a loss at Navy (4/11)…fanned seven and allowed two runs in a complete game win at Bucknell (4/18)…struck out a season-high 11 batters in a complete game victory over NJIT (5/2), giving up five hits and two runs…Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection.
