Cross Country Tabs Nine to League Honor Roll

EASTON, Pa. - Nine members of the Lafayette cross country team were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the League announced Wednesday. To be eligible for this honor, each student must have achieved at least a 3.2 GPA during the fall semester.

Sophomore Andrew Warshauer (Chemical Engineering, Warren, N.J./Watchung Hills) led the way with a 3.88 GPA, while Grace Watters (Chemical Engineering, Red Bank, N.J./Middletown South) was tops for the women at 3.86 for the semester. Additionally for the men were freshman Thomas Day (Undeclared, Haddam, Conn./Haddam Killingworth) with a 3.83, junior Derrick Hargwood (Mechanical Engineering, Metuchen, N.J./Metuchen) with a 3.54 and senior Dayne Mosconi (Mechanical Engineering, Tenafly, N.J./Tenafly) with a 3.34.

Rounding out the women were freshman Stephanie Benko (Undeclared, New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan) with a 3.75, junior Elizabeth Troisi (Biology, Londonberry, N.H./Londenberry) with a 3.68, classmate Rose Willey (Mathematics, Brookfield, Conn./Brookfield) with a 3.68 as well and freshman Zoe Nagasing (Undeclared, Pawling, N.Y./Pawling) with a 3.2.

The total field consisted of 88 student-athletes for the men, compared to 75 for the women. Bucknell led both sides with 25 women honorees and 18 men.
