EASTON, Pa. - Michele Curcio, Associate Head Coach of the Lafayette cross country and track and field teams, has been named to the coaching staff of the United States World Junior Team. The squad will compete at the IAAF World Junior Championships in Barcelona, Spain on July 10-15.
The team consists of athletes under 19 years old who finished either first or second at the U.S. Junior National Championships. Curcio will mentor a group of female throwers that includes three national high school record holders and two Junior National record holders.
Curcio has guided several Lafayette throwers to NCAA Championship meets.
