Lafayette Places Three on All-Academic Team

EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette placed three members of the track and field team on the Academic All-Patriot League team on Friday morning. Seniors Ryan Stasiowski and Kelly Clyde were joined by junior Nick Henderson.

Stasiowski, a Civil Engineering major and Geology minor, maintains a 3.60 grade-point average (GPA) and anchored the distance medley team that placed third in the Patriot League Championships.

Henderson, a Biology major and Philosophy minor, boasts a 3.76 GPA as a junior. Henderson finished second in the pole vault with a jump of 15'9" to earn Second-Team All-League at the championships.

Clyde, a Psychology major and Spanish minor, posts a 3.70 GPA. She earned Second-Team All-League after a second-place finish in the 60m and 200m dash. Clyde also ran the lead off leg of the fifth place 4x400m relay team.

All three have been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and the Dean's List.

To be eligible for the Scholar-Athlete of the Year award and the Academic All-Patriot League Team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade-point average and be a starter or key player in his/her sport.
