Senior Kyle Clayton added a few more awards to his already great career at Lafayette this weekend at the IC4A Championships at Princeton University.

Clayton earned three All-East awards to follow up his three from the indoor season. He finished second in the 200m dash (21.18) after placing sixth in the 100m dash (10.64) and seventh in the long jump (23' 11.75").

Clayton broke his own school record in the 200m during the preliminary round on Saturday with a time of 21.10. He also ran a personal best in the 100m (10.52) during the preliminary round.

Additionally, Clayton anchored the 4 x 100m relay to a new school record in Saturday's preliminary round. The team of Bradley Williams, Adam Ballester, Nick DeRosa and Clayton ran 41.06 to finish 11th. The time broke the record that this group shared with the 2004 relay team of James Strada, Chris Nixon, Kris Carey and Machel Morrison.

Joining Clayton with All-East honors was senior Seamas McGuire. McGuire finished seventh in the javelin at 207'1" to earn his second consecutive honor.

Ryan Stasiowski also had a personal best over the weekend, running 9:10.70 in the 3000m steeplechase. Other athletes to compete over the weekend were Sean Casey (800m), Williams (triple jump), DeRosa (200m) and Alana Taylor (javelin).

McGuire will be competing in the javelin at the NCAA East Regional Championship on May 27. Two other Leopards are also waiting to hear if they have made the cut: Clayton (100m and 200m) and Taylor (javelin) will find out Friday May 21st if they made the top 48.
