IC4A Final Results | ECAC Final Results

BOSTON, Mass. - Six Lafayette student-athletes competed on Sunday in the final day of the ECAC and IC4A Championships at Reggie Lewis Track.

Joelle Neilson finished 10th in the long jump with a leap of 5.64 meters while also placing 13th in the triple jump, jumping 11.83 meters.

Sophomore Elise Buffinton, also earned a top 10 spot in the pole vault, registering a height of 12' 1''. Buffinton's mark is a new school record, eclipsing the previous height of 11' 5 1/4'' set by Daria Szkwarko in 2006.

Rachel Pena and Gwen Steckel each competed in the 20lb weight throw, nabbing the 30th and 34th positions with throws of 15.01m and 14.92m, respectively.

In the IC4A's, Jerome Rudolph ran in the 60m dash, finishing 12th in the semifinal heat with a time of 6.97 seconds. William Volkmann also competed in the 5000m run.
