Career Highlights:

2008-09: Made outstanding progress in her freshman year improving over 20 seconds in the 1500m. Ran in the top five every meet during the cross country season...Scored both indoor and outdoor in our dual meet with Lehigh...eighth all time in the 1000m.

Coach Piazza on Welsh-Huggins: "Sarah is extremely motivated and committed. Injuries sideline her at the end of cross country and part of indoors. She is going to run some excellent times in her career and develop into an outstanding middle distance runner."
