Kurt  Dunn

Kurt Dunn begins his 3rd season working with the Pole Vault. Kurt recently finished his post collegiate career. A 17'5" vaulter, Dunn brings a wealth of vault knowledge to an already powerful group.

His first 2 seasons proved quite successful as Elise Buffinton '14 broke both the indoor and outdoor school records and won the Pole Vault at both the Indoor and Outdoor Patriot League Championships. Buffinton also earned All East Honors Indoors with a 2nd place finish at the ECAC Championships. In Dunn's first season, Nick Henderson '12 won the Eastern Division Pole Vault at Penn Relays with a jump of 15'11" as well as finishing 3rd at both the Indoor and Outdoor Patriot League Championships.

Dunn has previously coached at both the club and high school level. He has worked with both Apex Vault club and Vertical Assault's club. Dunn also coached at Athens HS.

Dunn won the 2003 and 2004 Junior College Outdoor National Championship in the Pole Vault for Alfred State. He is still the Championship Meet record holder in the Pole Vault. He is also the school's Indoor and Outdoor School Record Holder. Dunn was inducted into the Alfred State Hall of Fame in the fall of 2012. Dunn is also a former Pennsylvania State "AA" Champion and State meet record holder in the Vault (2000).
