Curcio to Take Over Lafayette Track and Field

Lafayette Director of Athletics Bruce McCutcheon has named long-time assistant coach Michele Curcio as the successor to Julio Piazza and head coach of Lafayette's track and field and cross country programs.

Julio Piazza, who has served as the head track and field and cross country coach at Lafayette for 27 years, has announced that he will retire at the end of the 2013 school year.

On the second and final day of the Patriot League Championships, the Lafayette Track and Field team finished fifth in both the men's and women's team rankings.
