Twenty-Three Women's Swimmers and Divers Receive Patriot League Academic Honor Roll Status

EASTON, Pa. - Twenty-three members of the Lafayette women's swimming and diving team earned Patriot League Academic Honor Roll honors it was announced on Wednesday. In order to qualify for Academic Honor Roll status, student-athletes must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.2 during the spring semester. Graduating seniors Leah Goldberg and Victoria Pocius finished their final semester with perfect 4.00 GPAs, making them two of only five student-athletes throughout the conference to accomplish this feat. Goldberg, a Neuroscience major, was named to the Academic Honor Roll once before in 2009, when she completed her semester with a 3.40 GPA. For Pocius, a Biology major, this is her third time receiving this honor, having been placed on the squad in 2008 with a 3.67 GPA and in 2010 with a 3.50 GPA. The 23 total student-athletes named to this prestigious group placed them second among Patriot League schools, one athlete behind Bucknell.
