A pair of 4.0 grade-point averages leads a roster of 19 members of the Lafayette women’s swimming and diving team named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. To eligible, student-athletes must earn a 3.2 semester GPA while competing in a Patriot League sport with a winter or spring championship.
With 19 selections, Lafayette was the second-most represented team behind only Bucknell (21).
Alexandria Brannick ’12 and Imogen Cain ’12 each posted perfect 4.0 GPAs in their final semesters on College Hill. Brannick, who earned a degree in Geology, was also named Academic All-Patriot League and was the female Maroon Club Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Cain received a degree in Art this past May.
Also representing the Class of 2012 from Jim Dailey’s team were Alexa Salcito (Government & Law, 3.80 GPA) and Candice Prager (Mechanical Engineering, 3.43).
Academic All-Patriot League honoree Stephanie Robelen (Chemical Engineering, 3.88 GPA) heads a list of five rising seniors, joined by classmates Dana Purdy (Biology, 3.58), Christina Brown (Biology, 3.50), Kara McNulty (International Affairs, 3.50) and Kelsey Theriault (History, 3.43).
Five rising juniors earned Honor Roll status: Lauren Berry (Psychology, 3.93 GPA), Abby Floyd-Jones (Economics/Policy Studies, 3.93), Danielle Fontaine (English/History, 3.89), Tori Bonisese (Psychology/Economics, 3.50) and Alexandria Castaldo (Government & Law, 3.33).
The Class of 2015 was also represented by five student-athletes. Andrea Parish (Biology, 3.83) led the rising sophomores along with Jane Kuntz (Undeclared, 3.75 GPA), Ashley Kunow (Chemical Engingeering, 3.68), Allie Berger (Government & Law/Foreign Language, 3.35) and Megan Kaveney (Neuroscience, 3.33).
