Lafayette Leads Patriot League With 36 Academic Honor Roll Selections

June 25, 2013

EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette's men's and women's swimming and diving teams have placed 36 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the most honorees within the conference. To eligible, student-athletes must earn a 3.2 semester grade-point average while competing in a Patriot League sport with a winter or spring championship.

Five swimmers stood out above the rest, registering a 4.0 GPA in the spring semester. Seniors Kelsey Theriault (History) and Christina Brown (Biology), junior Lauren Berry (Psychology) and sophomore Jane Kuntz (Psychology & Spanish) managed the feat for the Lafayette women while junior Adam Gill (History and Economics) and sophomore Matt Jouny (Chemical Engineering & Mathematics) managed a perfect semester GPA for the men.

Lafayette's 36 selections were the most among Patriot League schools, ahead of Bucknell (32), Holy Cross (26), Navy (24), American (22), Army (22), Lehigh (22) and Colgate (18).
