Buckley and Grieb Qualify for 100 Breast Consolation Finals

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Day three of the Patriot League Swimming and Diving Championships saw Noelle Buckley and James Grieb advance to the consolation finals in the 100 breaststroke.

Both finished in 14th place, Buckley swimming a 1:07.12 while Grieb finished in 57.31.

In the relay action, the Lafayette men's 200 free relay team placed seventh. Grieb, Xavier Laracuente, Kyle Doherty and Bryce Currie swam a time of 1:24.60.

The women's 200 free relay team of Anne Marie Mozrall, Sydney Wight, Allie McBrearty and Julia Hall finished in ninth spot, clocking a time of 1:37.24.

Through 27 events in the Patriot League Championships, the Lafayette men sit ninth, 12 points out of eighth place while the Leopard women are in 10th, 11 points out of ninth place.

Saturday is the final day of the Patriot League Swimming and Diving Championships at Navy's Lejeune Hall. The event can be viewed for free on the Patriot League Network starting with Wednesday's evening session, and live results can be found here.
