Fencing Takes Part in Temple Open

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Lafayette fencing team competed in the Temple Open on Saturday afternoon with junior Alexandra Knobel taking 19th in the foil to lead the squad.

In the Epee, sophomore Colleen Way took the 45th spot, while classmate Allison Reich held the 65th position in a 76-fencer field. 

For the men, freshman Joseph Ingrao snagged 45th place in the sabre and sophomore Daniel Robitzski came in 35th in the Epee.

Lafayette will host its Open Invitational on Nov. 18 as it will take on Army, NJIT, Stephens Tech, Drew, Hunter and Yeshiva.
