Matt Panto

Matt Panto enters his seventh year at Lafayette and third as the Assistant Director for Digital Media & Marketing. Panto oversees all of the athletic video content on GoLeopards.com and is primarily responsible for the marketing of Lafayette's 23 varsity sports. He also manages the athletic department's social media.

Panto is responsible for all the digital media content on GoLeopards.com, including scheduling live events, production and streaming of live games, press conferences and other multimedia. Under his oversight, GoLeopards.com has thrived into one of the league-leading platforms for video content. He serves as the play-by-play man for select sports, including women's basketball, lacrosse, soccer and an analyst for volleyball contests on GoLeopards.com.

Most notably, he is the producer of Lafayette's "Signing Day Central presented by Coke Zero", a live all-day webcast devoted to the announcement of student-athletes signing their letter of intent to attend Lafayette on football signing day, the last four years.

Under the guidance of Scott Morse, the Director of Athletic Communications and Promotions and executive producer of Lafayette Sports Network telecasts, Panto plays an integral role with the television and radio packages of LSN. While the primary emphasis lies with promoting the institution and its student-athletes through television production, distribution and advertising sales, LSN also encompasses Lafayette's radio broadcasts, all of the stadium and arena signage, weekly television shows, video streaming, game programs, hospitality areas and game-day promotional events.

For the 15th straight year, LSN leads the Patriot League and most of the nation with a distribution of nearly 10 million viewers regionally, more than 90 million nationally on most telecasts and worldwide via LSN All-Access on all broadcasts.

On the marketing side, Panto has helped the Leopard football program lead the Patriot League in attendance for the past three (2008, '09 and '10) seasons. He is directly responsible for game-day and in-game events and promotions.

Panto serves as one of the co-advisors to Lafayette's Sports Marketing Club, an organization that has twice been honored for its efforts with one of Lafayette's prestigious, student-chosen Aaron O. Hoff Awards as the Program of the Year, including Youth Empowerment Day in 2008.

Prior to Lafayette, Panto earned his bachelor's degree in Marketing from DeSales University in 2006. During his time in Center Valley, he interned in Lafayette's Office of Athletic Communications and was a setter on the DeSales men's club volleyball team. Following graduation, he joined the DeSales women's volleyball staff and helped guide the Bulldog team to the 2007 Freedom Conference Championship and a berth in the NCAA tournament.

He is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators NACMA), CoSIDA and ECAC-SIDA.

Panto currently resides in Easton.
