Mark Mohrman

Mark Mohrman is in his third year on the Lafayette Athletic Communications staff, serving as the Assistant Sports Information Director. Mohrman previously worked as the Athletic Communications Assistant during his first year at Lafayette. He is the primary media contact for men's basketball, baseball, men's and women's soccer and men's and women's tennis.

Mohrman came to Lafayette after spending his last two years in college as a student assistant in Athletic Communications at Monmouth University, where he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication in May 2011 with a concentration in Radio/Television.

With the Hawks, Mohrman assisted the sports information directors at press conferences while also transcribing and distributing statistics, preparing game notes, game day programs and media guides. The Mickleton, N.J. native also wrote press releases, game stories and player bios and helped maintain GoMUHawks.com, for which he also conducted on-air postgame player and coach interviews. Mohrman also assisted development and worked with Pursuant Sports on the Monmouth Athletics Virtual Guide.

During his time at Monmouth, Mohrman worked at WMCX 88.9 FM, Monmouth University Radio, where he supervised all aspects of sports broadcasts as Sports Director and Executive Board member for three years. Mohrman served as the play-by-play broadcaster for the 2009 Men's Soccer NCAA Tournament, the 2008, 2009 and 2010 NEC Women's Basketball Tournament and the 2010 NEC Men's Basketball Tournament.

In 2009, Mohrman served as a Stadium Operations Intern for the Camden Riversharks of Atlantic League Baseball. The next season, Mohrman served on the production staff for the Single-A Lakewood BlueClaws, where he operated audio software for the ballpark and filled in as production coordinator.
