In 2011, the Morel Field House was opened, housing indoor batting facilities for baseball and softball and the men's and women's basketball locker rooms were expanded and renovated. McCutcheon has also upgraded the department by creating full-time positions in several sports, including volleyball, men's and women's soccer and baseball, as well as strength and conditioning, athletic training and athletic equipment services. An experienced administrator, McCutcheon serves on the executive committee of the Division I Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) and the executive committee of the Patriot League's Committee on Athletic Administration.
