At Yale, Kingsley assumed sports information duties for the women's volleyball, women's basketball and baseball teams. He traveled with the volleyball team to the NCAA Championship First and Second Rounds at Penn State in 2008, a year in which the team won the Ivy League Championship. Additionally, Kingsley was the co-producer of the weekly Yale Football media luncheon, which was open to the public at the Yale Bookstore and streamed live over the Internet.

Prior to his time at Yale, Kingsley was the primary media contact for nine Division II sports, including men's basketball, at Southern Connecticut State University. During his tenure, SCSU hosted its first-ever NCAA Playoff football game, for which he served as a statistician and a media liaison. Kingsley was also integral in the redesign and relaunch of the Owls' athletics website.

Kingsley is a 2007 graduate of Fairfield University, where he received a degree in Communication with a concentration in Media Studies and a minor in New Media: Film, Television and Radio. A native of Wallingford, Conn., he and his fiancée, Alana, currently reside in Hellertown, Pa.
