Jonathan Edwards is in his fourth year as a full-time member of the Lafayette Sports Medicine team. His tenure began in July of 2014 after serving as a graduate assistant athletic trainer from July 2013 through August 2014.
Edwards graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training and a minor in Exercise Science. While an undergraduate, he was a student athletic trainer for the Cornell University baseball team in the 2012 spring semester.
He also garnered significant experience at the Division III level, working with Cortland's men's ice hockey, football and men's lacrosse teams. Edwards completed his master's degree in Athletic Training from East Stroudsburg in 2014.
The native of Plattsburgh, N.Y. holds multiple certifications as a licensed athletic trainer in Pennsylvania and has been a member of NATA since 2012.
Edwards currently resides in Bethlehem, Pa. with his two roommates, Brian and John, and their dog, Piper.
