Hali Aussems is in her second year at Lafayette College. After serving as an intern earlier in the year, she joined the Lafayette Sports Medicine staff as a full-time assistant athletic trainer in the fall of 2015. She worked with the Leopard football team in the fall, and she is the primary training contact for the women's basketball program during the winter season.
Prior to arriving on College Hill, Aussems previously interned at Warren Hills Regional High School, Phillipsburg High School and Belvidere High School in New Jersey while earning her master's degree in athletic training from East Stroudsburg University. She attended Rutgers University as an undergrad, receiving her bachelor's degree in exercise science and sport studies in January, 2012.
Originally from Hackettstown, N.J., Aussems holds multiple certifications in athletic training, and additional certifications include CPR/First Aid/AED, HIPAA/OSHA and lifeguarding.
