Anthony Martin begins his first year as the director of equipment services at Lafayette College.
Martin spent the last six years as the athletic equipment manager at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Ore., serving as the equipment manager for all Olympic sports with a focus on men's and women's basketball and football. While there, Martin held a key role in the launch of Oregon State's new brand identity and worked to ensure proper logo usage at the Pac-12 school.
Prior to arriving at Oregon State, Martin was an intern with the Washington Capitals From 2009-10 and served as the primary locker room attendant at the Verizon Center. He got his start in hockey at his alma mater, serving as the assistant equipment manager for the University of Michigan hockey team from 2008-09. From 2005-08, he also worked on the arena operations staff at Yost Ice Arena in Ann Arbor.
A native of Wood-Ridge, N.J., Martin earned his bachelor of arts degree in Sports Management from Michigan in 2009 and went on to earn his master's degree in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown in 2010.
Martin and his wife, Macall, reside in Easton, Pa. with their two rescue great danes, Penny and Pepper. Macall works in athletic marketing at Princeton University.
