EASTON, Pa. - The Leopard, Lafayette's athletic mascot, will compete in a "Mascot Dash" at noon on Dec. 31 as a part of ArtsQuest's "PEEPS Fest" at SteelStacks in Bethlehem, Pa.

The race will consist of a 50-yard dash and take place on First Street in front of the ArtsQuest Center. It will feature eight Lehigh Valley area mascots. Racing against the Leopard will be the PEEPS Chick, the HOT TAMALES Fireball, the PEANUT CHEWS Bar, the Lehigh Valley SteelHawks' mascot, Little Caesar's "Little Caesar," Red Robin's "Red" and Subway's "Subdude."

The "Mascot Dash" is open to the public and all Leopard fans are encouraged to come out and show support.

Lafayette Athletics, as a partner in the mission of the College, provides an incredibly effective learning experience for student-athletes through competitive NCAA Division I athletics. Lafayette sponsors 23 varsity sports with more than 600 student-athletes.
