GoLeopards.com Unveils Fresh Look

Sept. 15, 2015

Welcome to the new GoLeopards.com!

With this redesign, we've worked hard to create a more consistent experience for you -- no matter what type of device you use to view the site. Gone are the days of a "desktop" site and a "mobile" site. Now, every time you visit GoLeopards.com you'll get the full site, with content formatted for optimal viewing on your device.

So why the change?

Currently, more than 50 percent of our visitors access GoLeopards.com from a mobile phone or tablet. So we focused on providing a rich experience for mobile viewing without compromising any features of the desktop site. Wherever you are, however you view the site, we want to make sure you have a great experience.

In addition to reformatting our content, we've also added some new features that we hope you'll find useful:

  • Photos and photo galleries are much more prominent throughout the site.
  • Our award-winning video content will take a more visually prominent role on the homepage and all sport pages.
  • Every page now features Lafayette or sport-specific Instagram and Twitter feeds, giving you up-to-the-minute insights into what's going on with your favorite teams.
  • The main navigation of the site features user-friendly, on-click functionality that remains open for enhanced access.

Beyond just adding new features, we completely overhauled much of the site's underlying code in order to deliver pages efficiently using less data. GoLeopards.com is leaner, faster and more streamlined than it has ever been.

We've worked hard over the last several months to bring this new site to you, but there is still some work to be done. As always, we welcome your feedback -- good, bad or ugly -- to help us make GoLeopards.com even better.

Please visit http://www.goleopards.com/feedback/lafa-feedback.html to share your thoughts with us.

GoLeopards.com will continue to evolve, because we want to give Leopard fans the best experience possible.

We hope you enjoy the new site!
