The 2008-2009 academic year provided much excitement for fans of Lafayette Athletics. The Leopards were well represented in the Patriot League playoffs as baseball, women's basketball and softball were all Patriot League runners-up.

Senior football co-captain Andy Romans was honored as Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year while softball player Christina Giambrone was also named Player of the Year.

The football team rolled past the 14th ranked Liberty Flames en route to a 7-4 season. Andrew Brown became the men's basketball program's career three-point leader during the 2008-09 season and the women's basketball team was the first No. 7 seed to reach the Patriot League finals in the tournament's history.

Leopard fans can now relive all of the 2008-2009 excitement through the Leopards' online photo gallery.
