The Lafayette field hockey team practices and plays all home games at Rappolt Field at the Metzgar Fields Athletic Complex, located in Forks Township, Pa. About three miles northwest of the College Hill campus, the field is part of an 80-acre facility, which contains fields for most of the school's outdoor sports.

All of Lafayette's field sports have benefited from the construction of the state-of-the-art AstroTurf field in 2000. The field features AstroTurf XL12, one of AstroTurf's most advanced products. The facility features bleachers, a scoreboard and lights. Construction of the turf was made possible by a gift from 1967 Lafayette alum, Bill Rappolt. Rappolt Field provided the backdrop for the 2002 Field Hockey Patriot League Tournament.

Lafayette Athletics, as a partner in the mission of the College, provides an incredibly effective learning experience for student-athletes through competitive NCAA Division I athletics. Lafayette sponsors 23 varsity sports with more than 600 student-athletes.
